I found some information that I believe could be beneficial in knowing the status of the pending I-140 case (also for I-485)
This is called TSC Streamline procedure and a url link is given below.
Based on that, AILA attorneys can send an email notice about the pending I-140 info. It seems like the application should have been filed prior to the processing date that shows up for I-140 for TSC. It looks like there is no 30 day window imposed as in the case of Service Requests.
This email is supposed to inform USCIS about our pending I-140!

So far we have around 1100 people who have responded. Based on quick calculations carried out using PERM data, it is estimated that there are at least 60K-70K EB applicants waiting to file I-485/EAD/AP (this is a very conservative estimate..the actual number could be much more). I am F-1 Student at a community college. At the same time, I am teaching at the college that I go to, since I have a Master's Degree....as I am allowed to work on campus 20 hours. The school is not willing to file H1b for me. But if there is another short cut....they might help me with that. Is there any way of receiving Green Card without going through the H1b?

Thanks for your reply. I was off for a month and a half to complete a paper for my Masters and have proof for the same...I was not able to juggle both work and studies....will USCIS consider this excuse to be at home studying without pay?

Hi Gurus,
My PD is Aug 2005 (EB2 India). Last year, during September - October my case was picked up and I think it is processed, but because of lack of visa numbers, the case was not approved. (I wrote a senator letter, he got back saying that the file is processed and waiting for visa numbers)
Now, I got 2 offers. First one is a fulltime position and 2nd one is a contract with a primary vendor (directly working on W2 using EAD). I haven't decided which one to join.
What are the options, I have? Do I need to file AC21? Since my file is already processed and waiting for the PD to become current, am I OK, even if I don�t apply for AC21? If I file AC21 and if the job descriptions are not matching or because of any other issues, if there is an RFE, I will be having some issues.
Gurus please let me know your thoughts.

A friend of mine was recently stuck in administrative processing from November till March 13th (he was informed about the approval on March 18th) a total timeframe of 5 months. He reached the US on March 22nd and was admitted on H1 without any issues.
He sent me the following facebook link which list at least 200 such cases of similar souls.
"Here is a link to Facebook group on visa delay the kind I had. There is a spreadsheet which lists a sample of 200 cases since Nov.

Hi,
I am transfering my H1b to my friends company. And I have to bear all fees. As such my case is simple, no complications. I have good education credentials and 10+ years of exp. Got education evaluation also with me.
I just went thru USCIS site and it looks like to me that filing H1 transfer by myself (or by my friend) is a fair simple job.
Can anybody give me advice or have some experiece in filing H1 or transfer H1?

I see that India got around 27400 Gcs. Does it mean spill over was happening during FY 2007? I was under the impression it started since FY 2008.
